In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, I wanted to express the effect of a natural disaster while remembering the hope of regeneration after recovery. The loan sweeper against the background of NYC illustrates that, while any one person can't clean up such widespread destruction, the contribution of every individual matters. The cool palette reflects the calm after the storm.
