Beyond the Map, 6 x 4 in, Graphite on Paper - SOLD

In this drawing, I was thinking about how landscapes shift when they’re no longer just places, but patterns of memory and imagination. Circles and lines suggest both maps and machinery, while softer shapes drift like clouds or shorelines. It’s not meant to be a literal place, but an invitation to explore what lies just outside the edges of what we know — a space both charted and unknown, where the eye keeps wandering.
